Discovery · CFO-led assessment
Understand what your finance function needs.
ACTA CFOs examine your systems and how the work gets done. Together, we establish a clearer picture of the infrastructure required to support your business.
What we look at
- Your finance systems, information flows, and recurring processes.
- Reporting needs, review responsibilities, and operational priorities.
- The infrastructure needed to support the combined ACTA offering.
Phase 1 · ACTA CFO + ACTA AI Platform
Establish the function.
Your ACTA finance lead and the platform work together. Leadership defines priorities and review responsibilities. AI and automation support the processes in the agreed scope.
What comes together
- Named finance leadership and accountability for agreed work.
- Platform implementation aligned with the infrastructure assessment.
- Documented processes and reviewable execution.
Phase 2 · CFO + AI + controller training
Prepare your controller to lead.
Your company hires the incoming controller. ACTA continues the CFO and platform engagement while training the controller to work with the systems, processes, and responsibilities they will inherit.
What the transition addresses
- How recurring processes run and how results are reviewed.
- Use of the AI platform and the handling of exceptions.
- Documentation, responsibilities, and the agreed handover.
Phase 3 · Platform subscription + customer success
Your team leads. ACTA stays connected.
Your trained team takes day-to-day ownership of finance. ACTA AI Platform continues through a recurring subscription, supported by ACTA customer-success services.
What continues
- Use of the platform to support documented finance operations.
- Your team’s judgment, review, and approval responsibilities.
- ACTA customer-success support for ongoing innovation.
Responsibility stays visible
Know who owns the work.
| Stage | ACTA CFO | ACTA AI Platform | Your team |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discovery | Assesses systems and needs | Requirements identified | Provides context and agreed access |
| Establish | Leads the agreed finance work | Implemented and operated alongside CFO | Collaborates on processes and review |
| Train & transition | Continues leadership and trains controller | Supports operations and training | Incoming controller learns and prepares |
| Sustain & advance | Leadership transfers to your team | Recurring subscription with ACTA customer success | Owns day-to-day finance leadership |
A transition based on readiness
Agree the next step together.
How long does each stage take?
Timing depends on your current systems, the agreed scope, and your team’s readiness. The engagement defines milestones and the criteria for moving forward.
Who hires the incoming controller?
Your company hires the controller. ACTA provides training and transition support as part of Phase 2.
What if our hiring timeline changes?
Discuss the change with ACTA so coverage, scope, and the transition plan can be agreed before the handover.
What continues after the handover?
The recurring ACTA AI Platform subscription and ACTA customer-success services support your trained team. Ongoing CFO coverage is separate from that Phase 3 model and would need to be agreed.
